Digital Products
Cookie Icing Lab sells exclusively digital products. Depending on the product, the customer receives access to an online class, an STL file for 3D printing, a printable PDF template, or a combination of these materials. Unless expressly stated otherwise on the product page, no physical product is shipped.
Prices and Payment
Prices are displayed before checkout. The final amount payable, including applicable taxes, is shown before the customer confirms payment. Payments are processed through Stripe.
Delivery of Digital Content
After successful payment, the customer receives access to the purchased digital content or a download link.
Online classes are provided with ongoing access for as long as the relevant Cookie Icing Lab service continues to exist and is technically supported.
STL/PDF download links may expire. The customer must download and save purchased files while the link remains valid. Cookie Icing Lab does not guarantee that files will be provided again after the link has expired.
Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content
Where digital content is supplied immediately after purchase, delivery begins following the customer's express request and consent. Where applicable law provides that the right of withdrawal is lost once supply of digital content begins, the customer must expressly acknowledge this before completing the purchase.
This does not affect mandatory consumer rights where digital content is defective, corrupted, or does not conform to the contract.
Refunds
Because the products are digital, refunds are generally not available after supply of the digital content has begun where the customer has validly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged the resulting loss of the applicable right of withdrawal.
If a file is defective, corrupted, or the wrong product was supplied, contact [email protected]. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
STL and PDF License
Purchasing an STL/PDF product grants the customer the right to use the purchased files. Customers may use the files personally, print physical cookie cutters from purchased STL files, sell physical cutters made from those STL files, use the templates and cutters to make cookies, and sell cookies made using them.
Customers may not sell, resell, share or redistribute the STL/PDF files themselves; provide the original digital files to others; publish them for free download; upload them to marketplaces, file-sharing services or other distribution platforms; or present Cookie Icing Lab's original digital files as their own.
Online Classes
Purchasing a class grants the customer an individual right to access its materials. Customers may use the techniques and designs learned in the class to make and sell their own finished cookies.
Class videos, PDF files and other class materials may not be copied, resold, redistributed or shared, and access may not be provided to other persons.
Minors
The website does not impose a general age restriction on access to its digital products. Where the law applicable to a minor requires authorization from a parent or legal guardian to make a purchase, that authorization must be obtained before purchasing.
International Sales
Digital products are available to customers in different countries. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the customer's country of residence may apply. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Intellectual Property
Purchasing a digital product does not transfer ownership of copyright or other intellectual-property rights. The customer receives only the usage rights expressly granted in these Terms.

Changes to These Terms
Cookie Icing Lab may update these Terms in the future. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, a purchase is governed by the Terms in effect when that purchase was made.
